Jungheinrich, the worldwide manufacturer of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, has renewedits contract with leading network solutions provider Nightfreight for a further three years.
As part of the new deal, Nightfreight will be responsible for the management of the completeinbound supply chain of new trucks from Jungheinrich’s manufacturing plants in Germany for the UKmarket in a move designed to improve tracking and visibility through the supply chain from factoryto customer delivery.
For the past five years Nightfreight has been responsible for operating all UK distributionproviding on-site contract management and support, product checks and low level rectification ofdamage, as well as delivery and collection of used equipment for short-term hire to Jungheinrich’sUK customer base.
