UPS Canada has announced a new savings programme for eBay PowerSellers in the country providingthem with cost-effective solutions to enhance services for their customers.
PowerSellers are a group of high-volume sellers on eBay who sustain a consistent volume ofmonthly sales and a high level of feedback with 98% or a better positive rating by other eBayusers. eBay provides special benefits and programmes for these sellers.
As part of the savings programme, eBay PowerSellers in Canada can now profit from specialdiscounts of up to 50% off UPS shipping rates. Following the effective date of their enrolment tothe programme through the eBay website, sellers start saving with the first package they send,whether it is a package across town, overnight across the country or international shipping aroundthe world.
“UPS is dedicated to providing solutions to the eBay community that help them save time andmoney, and grow their business. We are continually working to help small- and medium-sizedbusinesses expand to reach buyers worldwide – and eBay helps provide exposure to new markets,” saidWayne Bosch, vice-president of customer solutions for UPS Canada.
There are also a number of other useful options available for eBay PowerSellers on the globalUPS website ‘UPS.com’.
For example, sellers can improve customer service with visibility solutions such as Quantum ViewNotify allowing their customers to automatically receive information on delivery status.
In addition, UPS offers a wide variety of return services including efficient internationalreturns from 99 countries and territories worldwide enabling businesses to provide the level ofcustomer service desired, while managing costs.
UPS Paperless Invoice allows shippers to submit commercial invoice information electronicallywhen shipping internationally. UPS Paperless Invoice can decrease processing time and reduce paperwaste and customs delays.
As an eco-friendly and time-saving alternative to paper invoices, sellers can choose electronicbilling to receive their UPS invoice in PDF, XML or CSV format, and pay their shipping invoicesonline.
“In addition to great new savings, eBay sellers also have access to many shipping and visibilitytools of UPS such as tracking, cost calculators and more,” Bosch confirmed.
A PowerSeller must be an active member on eBay for 90 days and average a monthly sales minimumof the Canadian currency equivalent of US $1,000 for three consecutive months.
