British parcels carrier Yodel, formerly HDN, has gained its second contract in recent weeks todistribute fashion goods ordered online.
The company, which sees itself as the UK’s second-largest parcel delivery business following theacquisition of the DHL Express domestic business earlier this year, won a new three-year contractwith JP Boden & Co. Ltd, one of the fastest growing and most innovative names in online fashionretailing in Britain. The contract value was not disclosed.
Yodel said it gained the contract due to its service offering which provides greater choice ofcustomer delivery options than other parcel carriers, as well as an unrivalled use of technologyproviding delivery information to Boden customers at home.

Last month Yodel said it had been selected by the High Street lingerie chain La Senza as itsmajor UK delivery partner for its B2C operation. Under this two-year deal, Yodel will deliver morethan 400,000 parcels annually to customers buying products via La Senza’s website providing a widerange of delivery services. These include next day, 48- and 72-hour delivery as well as Saturdayand timed services.
Yodel expects to deliver over 200 million parcels with annual revenues of £600 million thisyear. The company operates eight national hubs, 123 service centres and a fleet of 5,000 vans.
