Aramex takes South African lions home

Middle East-based express and logistics group Aramex has safely transported lions and hyenasfrom Amman, Jordan, to their natural habitat at Lionsrock Big Cat Sanctuary in South Africa.

This delivery is in line with the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility andenvironmental sustainability. The cargo included one young lioness, one male lion cub and threespotted hyenas.

It is already the second time this year Aramex has transported lions from the Jordanian capitalto South Africa. The animals were delivered home just in time for the World Cup.

For the delivery, Aramex cooperated with the Princess Alia Foundation, a Jordaniannon-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting the balance, harmony and respect of allcreation.
