UK’s Yodel gets fashionable with La Senza’s lingerie

British B2C specialist Home Delivery Network (HDNL), now trading as Yodel, was selected by theHigh street lingerie chain La Senza as its major UK delivery partner for its B2C operation.

Under the two year deal, Yodel will deliver more than 400,000 parcels annually to customersbuying products via La Senza’s website providing a wide range of delivery services. These includenext day, 48- and 72-hour delivery as well as Saturday and timed services.

All deliveries will be supported with a full online tracking facility to allow La Senza customerservices team to assist in resolving any delivery queries.

Christine Key, Sales Director at Yodel, said: “We have worked very closely with the La Senzateam since the beginning of the year to put together a delivery service and strategy that meets thecompany’s specific needs. Yodel has an extensive range of consumer informed delivery services andwill support La Senza through peak trading periods, such as the build up to Christmas andsurrounding major marketing campaigns.”

She added that La Senza has become a well-known name in the UK and has developed a large andloyal customer base. “We look forward to helping the business continue to build on this success.”</p>

Pine specified that Yodel was selected based on its extensive range and flexibility of servicesas well as its proven success in delivering key delivery contracts for major brands. “We areconfident that this partnership will allow us to continue to grow our business in the online retailmarket.”

Yodel is expected to deliver over 200 million parcels per year with annual revenues of £600million. It is the second-largest parcel delivery business in the UK after Royal Mail operatingeight national hubs, 123 service centres and a fleet of 5,000 vans.
