Belgian Post enters Indian market through partnership

Belgian Post International (BPI) has entered the booming Indian market through a partnershipwith mail and courier firm Expressit to launch an international express mail delivery service

across 180 countries.

The partnership marks BPI’s entry into India’s booming express delivery market, which has beenwitnessing 20% year-on-year growth in recent years, the two companies said in a jointstatement.

Presented to customers under the name of “MailPlus offer”, the new service will allow Indiancompanies to reach out to international customers in timely, cost effective and qualitative way.Besides very competitive prices, MailPlus will also offer guaranteed delivery times.

The express service will consist of three tailor-made international solutions: Practimail,Volumail and Parcels. Practimail is an all-in service focusing on express mail. Volumail is anextremely competitive solution tailored to suit significant annual mail volumes. The Parcelsservice will offer a step-by-step online monitoring, extended delivery and deposit options. Thislast service particularly targets publishing companies and e-commerce businesses.
