UPS has re-branded its entire UK fleet of vans and trucks with the London 2012 Olympic logo aspart of its logistics partnership with the forthcoming mega-event.
UPS said it has applied the London 2012 branding to its UK fleet of more than 3,000 vehiclesalong with all 2,800 uniforms, in an exercise that has taken just over three months. This is thefirst time the company has applied a partner logo alongside the iconic brown and gold UPS shield onits vehicles and uniforms in the UK.
Through the re-branding, UPS customers, employees and the UK general public will be reminded ona daily basis of UPS’s role as Official Logistics and Express Delivery Supporter of the London 2012Olympic and Paralympic Games.

With its partnership with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, UPS will be managing oneof the biggest and most significant logistical challenges on a global scale. The company will beresponsible for virtually all the distribution and logistics services for the two events via anintegrated supply chain solution that includes venue logistics services, warehousing services and adistribution network that will collect and deliver virtually everything from documents to heavyfreight. UPS will also be responsible for all customs clearance, freight forwarding and courierservices before, during and after the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
