Aramex is now offering a new import service under the name Inbound Express to compete withsimilar products offered by the global integrators.
The Middle East-based express and freight transport group said the new service provides inboundshipping from countries worldwide. Aramex picks up the shipment from the overseas supplier anddelivers it directly to the importer.
Customer benefits include fast customs clearance, advance information on shipping rates, onemonthly consolidated bill for all Inbound Express shipments and use of other Aramex servicesthrough one account.
“As with regular Express, you also get fast-transit time, real-time tracking information, proofof delivery of your shipments, and the ability to request delivery notification by email or SMS,”the company stated.
