DPD Russia opens new depot in Lipetsk

DPD Russia has further expanded its regional network with the opening of a new depot in Lipetsk,Central Russia, to meet the growing demand for quality transportation logistics services in the

region.

Lipetsk is one of the biggest and fastest growing cities in Central Russia with a populationof more than half a million people, and a multitude of manufacturing and trading businesses basedin and around the city. Lying close to Voronezh and about 438 km south-east of Moscow, it has awell-developed transport infrastructure with convenient access to the M4 Don and M6 Caspiannational highways.

Thanks to this dynamic development, the city has become increasingly important for thenational economy and demand for professional transportation logistics solutions in the region isgrowing, DPD Russia said. “The customers of DPD in Russia increasingly require quality parcel andfreight delivery services to cover the area. Therefore, DPD made a decision to open a depot inLipetsk.”

The new 340 sqm depot, located at one of the main routes serving the Lipetsk region, willprovide deliveries to 4,000 locations in Russia, offering the complete range of express forwardingservices offered by DPD in Russia. These include the day-definite DPD BIZPAK service, thecost-effective DPD ECONOMY domestic parcel and freight ground distribution service and theinternational DPD CLASSIC service.
