DHL Parcel Germany has officially partnered with plentySystems, a leading German software producerspecialised in innovative e-commerce solutions, to simplify shipping handling for commercial shop
operators in a bid to strengthen its position in online trading.Under the agreement that runs initially until October 2012, the Deutsche Post DHL domesticparcels business aims to integrate all business processes related to internet trade into onecontinuous digital value-added chain.
With its shop software “plentyMarkets”, plentySystems has developed an internet-basedcomplete solution for traders in large online market places. It helps internet traders automatetheir complete business processes and control them in real time from operating the online shops toorder process, content-management as well as return and after-sales management, among others.
With the plentyMarkets software, traders can now print out directly the appropriate shipmentcertificates as part of the after-sales management which considerably reduces the time for thewhole shipping process. At the same time, the transport status with the shipping number, shipmentconfirmation and date are directly registered in the order scheme.
Meanwhile, plentySystems counts more than 1.500 users including shop operators and variousonline trading platforms such as gamesload-konsolen-games.de, addtronic.com, shoppingpoint24.comand masterhair.de, to name a few. With 470.000 orders each month, the software producer generatesmonthly sales of €29.14 million through the new solution.
