FedEx Express has launched a new international express delivery service from the UK and Ireland forurgent shipments to more than 220 countries and territories.
FedEx International Next Flight will be the fastest FedEx service for customs-cleared,door-to-door delivery of urgent international shipments, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,365 days a year. Shipments will be moved via commercial airlines on the first suitable flight fromthe origin to the destination, or via ground transportation if that is faster, FedEx Express saidin a statement.
Responding to customer needs with time-critical and rush shipments, the service providesout-of-hours pickup and delivery, Friday pickup with weekend deliveries around the world andweekend pickup with a Monday delivery.
Customers using the FedEx International Next Flight service will benefit from pick-up within60 minutes after a call as well as enhanced tracking and notification. Additional features includeautomatic proof of delivery and delay notification, unlimited total shipment weight, and money-backguarantee for service failure.
