CitySprint’s national contract with Air Liquide UK extended

UK courier operator CitySprint has had its nationwide contract with Air Liquide UK extended forthree years, with the option to extend for a further two years at the end of that period.



Air Liquide UK, which is part of the Air Liquide Group, the world’s leading supplier ofindustrial and medical gases and related services, has been using CitySprint’s SameDay Courierservices on a daily basis since 2004. Earlier this year Air Liquide UK decided to extend itscontract with CitySprint for another three years, with the option to extend for a further two yearsat the end of that period, due to complete satisfaction with the service provided by the awardwinning courier network.

Under the contract, CitySprint is responsible for safely transporting Air Liquide UK’s dryice products to its many customers, including hospitals, universities, leading researchorganisations and key food and pharmaceutical distributors, across the UK.

Dry ice is carbon dioxide in its solid form which can be used for a range of freezing,chilling, cooling and cleaning requirements. Due to the nature of the product, it is essential thatit is transported in a safe and controlled manner. CitySprint has extensive experience in carefullytransporting products of this nature and has suitable vehicles and highly trained couriers familiarwith the relevant health and safety requirements.
