Swiss Post expands document management solutions to Middle East

Swiss Post has signed a strategic agreement with GAC, a global leading provider of shipping,logistics, marine and related services, to bring its core document services to the Middle East

enabling customers to outsource their entire back office function to the newly formed joint ventureGAC Office Solutions.

Swiss Post Solutions is the integrated document management unit of Swiss Post. GAC OfficeSolutions combines GAC’s commercial skills, customer knowledge and geographical reach with SwissPost Solutions’ technological and operational excellence in document outsourcing to offer a rangeof physical and digital solutions.

These include mailroom services, scanning and processing of documents, data capture, recordsand archive management, print and reprographics as well as third party supplier management and therecently announced products Swiss Post Box and IncaMail. Clients will be able to manage their backoffice functions and customer interaction more effectively, creating clear business advantages.

Already well established in Europe and the USA, the formation of a dedicated Middle Eastoperation represents an important strategic expansion for Swiss Post Solutions strengthening itsposition in document outsourcing on the global level.
