Ciblex to open larger warehouse with new Vanderlande sorting system

Express company Ciblex plans to open a larger warehouse at its site in Brussels, equipped with astate-of-the-art parcel sorting system from Vanderlande Industries, increasing the company’s

handling capacities considerably.

Starting in January, Ciblex Benelux will be operating from a larger warehouse located next tothe current distribution centre in Brussels, using a brand-new TRUXORTER parcel sorting system fromthe Dutch logistics system manufacturer.

The new system has capacity to handle up to 4,000 parcels per hour, enabling Ciblex to handlethe shipping volumes in the shortest possible time. Three package processing stations will beequipped with a dynamic weighing scale. A central camera and OCR system ensure that parcels arecorrectly identified and sorted to one of the 28 destinations.

Ciblex Benelux, which has seen its business grow significantly over the last few years, haschosen Vanderlande Industries for the project because of the flexible attitude in the design phaseand due to their ability to get the system up and running in a very short time.
