Time:matters teams up with LOT Polish airlines

LOT B767

time:matters has signed a partnership with LOT Polish Airlines to increase its route frequency andto reduce transport times for sameday services.

Headquartered in Warsaw, LOT Polish Airlines has an extensive European route network, especially to and from Poland. The new partnership enables time:matters to double the number offlights to and from Poland from just under 20 connections available before the contract. Thecompany can thus offer customers an even more comprehensive sameday service due to greaterflexibility when selecting the optimal connection.

In addition, the expansion of the time:matters’ sameday route network is especiallybeneficial for companies based in Poland and in the Baltic states as well as internationalcorporate clients doing business in these respective regions. At the same time, the expanded use ofPolish airports for transporting European sameday shipments reduces transport times to and fromPoland and to cross-border destinations.

The incorporation of the LOT connections into the European time:matters’ route network alsoprovides access to several more direct connections to and from Poland. This subsequently createseven more flexible cut-off times thus eliminating partially or in some cases even completelytransit flights via Frankfurt or Munich that were once necessary.

For example, a sameday shipment can now be flown directly from Warsaw to London which in turndecreases the transport time by approximately one hour to merely three and a half hours. At thesame time, it is now possible to use significantly later outbound connections. A customer can thusnow drop off an urgent shipment until 19:15 at Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport, instead of 13:45which was previously the case. The delivery in London will still take place that very same evening, time:matters said in a statement.

“The cooperation with LOT Polish Airlines offers our customers greater flexibility as well asan increased frequency for flights to and from Poland,” said Adam Komorowski, Country Manager oftime:matters Poland. “The new partnership provides us with a considerable advantage in terms oftime and enables significantly later cut-off times, which is highly beneficial for our customers,”he added.
