Aramex has announced the opening of three new offices across Germany located at Hamburg, Cologneand Frankfurt, expanding the company’s presence in the country and providing enhanced wholesale
express services to its customers.The Middle East-based express and freight logistics company has started operations in the newGermany offices as part of a business expansion strategy. The office at Hamburg will serve as thecountry head office. The Cologne office will host the main hub, night operations and line-haulsystem, while Frankfurt will serve as the international gateway for imports, exports and customsclearance.
“Germany is a vibrant European market for Aramex and we believe there is still huge potentialto expand our specialised wholesale services in the country, especially for business from Germanyto the Middle East,” said Fady Shoucair, Country Manager, Aramex. “Besides the Middle East, we arealso actively promoting our wholesale solutions for express business bound to South Asia and theFar East.
“We have already established direct continental services from Frankfurt to our regional huboperations in Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong in order to ensure the best cost and servicecombination,” Shoucair explains. “As our business continues to grow, we look forward to furtherexpanding our sales activities to additional key markets within Germany.”
The new Aramex services will be of particular appeal to independent courier companies acrossGermany which now have direct access to an independent network throughout the Middle East, Africaand Asia. The offices openings also mean that the members of the GDA network, which Aramex leads,have an inbound delivery network for services from their own countries.
