DPD has extended its DPD 10:00 parcel delivery service to the Benelux countries further expandingits international express portfolio.

From 1 June onwards, it is now possible to ship express parcels with DPD 10:00 in selectedareas of the Benelux countries.

The DPD 10:00 service guarantees next-day delivery by 10:00 a.m. The new service is offeredmainly in the metropolitan areas of Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg and comprises a series ofadditional services on demand. For example, customers can choose the cash on delivery (COD) optionor order a proactive notification via SMS.

After the successful launch of the products DPD 12:00 and DPD 18:00 for cross-border parceldelivery from and to the Benelux countries in 2008, DPD is thus complementing its existing range ofexpress solutions, the company said in a statement.

“This new offer is also implemented through the DPD road network in Europe and proves onceagain its high efficiency. In addition, road transport is up to five times lower priced than airtransport which causes even eight times more CO2 emissions,” said DPD CEO Arnold Schroven.
