TNT has announced various managerial changes in Europe, Latin America and Asia in May.
Christian Drenthen has been appointed head of Southern Europe for TNT Express, based inMadrid. He will be responsible for a number of countries, including Portugal, Spain, France, Italy,Greece, Turkey and the Balkan states.
Drenthen had headed TNT Express Italy since 2005. His successor there is Rosario Ambrosino.The 43-year-old has been with the company with 1994, and held a number of management positions,including most recently operations director.
TNT Chile has appointed Humberto Lira as its new CEO. Humberto previously worked as generalmanager of Chilean express delivery company LIT Cargo, which is now owned by TNT.
In Hong Kong, Sam Hung was named the new Director of Operations at the TNT’s regionaldivision. Hung will be responsible for ensuring increased efficiency of the company’s express-andlogistics services targeted at customers of information and communication technology (ICT). Inaddition, he will be in charge of the company’s ground operations and the gateway at the Hong KongInternational Airport.
