TNT Express is supporting the German Film Prize “Lola” for the fifth time in a row as its officialtransport partner.
On behalf of the German Film Academy, TNT shipped the treasured “Lola” statuettes for thehighest cultural award in Germany to the gala in Berlin and right to the doorstep of the stars.
Long before the ceremonial gala started on 24 April in the Berlin Palace, TNT already starteddelivering the prizes. Each of the 1,100 jury members received more than 60 films weeks ahead ofthe award show.
“We are very proud to accompany this top-class cinematic event for the fifth time in a rowwith our logistics know-how,” explained Anne-Katrin Herrmann, responsible for the projectmanagement of the German Film Prize at TNT Express. “The delivery of the DVDs to the jury in therun-up to the event went according to the plan.”
After the award ceremony, the TNT employees collected the “Lolas” to ship the statuettes tothe engraver and finally deliver them to the prize winners for personal handover. “The preciousstatuettes require a special packaging and accurate treatment during transportation,” addedAnne-Katrin Herrmann. “At TNT Express, the “Lolas” are in the best hands.”
TNT Express has been supporting Film Awards for about 10 years. The company is not only theofficial transport partner of the German Film Academy and the German Film Prize but it also workstogether with the European Film Academy, the International Film Festival “Berlinale” and differentregional Film Festivals.
