Ace Expediters, a US provider of time-critical delivery services, has acquired Network Express, aleading provider of specialised distribution services for pharmacies, for an undisclosed sum.
Through the addition of Network Express, Ace Expediters has become a leading dedicated routelogistics provider in the United States, its owner, private equity firm Atlantic Street Capital,said in a statement.
Ace has been providing out-sourced same-day logistics services to the automotive aftermarketretail segment for over 20 years. Its services range from simple on-demand distribution to the mostcomplex end-to-end supply chain management programmes. In addition to this latest acquisition, Aceacquired Express Courier Systems last year, a major provider of same-day logistics services to themedical laboratory industry in the USA.
Network Express has been operating in the USA since 1983. With its nationwide network ofcouriers, it delivers parcels to small businesses and large corporations all over the country.

Atlantic Street Capital acquired Ace Expediters in 2007 and has enhanced the company’soperations and management team since then.
