UPS upgrades online services for Yahoo! Small Business merchants

UPS has upgraded its e-commerce solutions used by Yahoo! Small Business merchants to makeinternational shipping and item returns easier for their customers.



The new online enhancements now include international forms to streamline the completion ofrequired forms for international orders online during order processing for Merchants Solutionscustomers. The new paperless invoices give Yahoo! merchants the option to submit commercialinvoices electronically accelerating customs clearance while saving ink and paper.

To help Yahoo! merchants simplify the returns process for their customers, UPS also providesreturns labels. In addition, the company has introduced Residential/Commercial AddressClassification to ensure accurate shipping charges for customers and increase customersatisfaction.

Moreover, Yahoo! Small Business merchants have access to UPS OnLine® Tools in Yahoo!’s ordermanagement system. These tools comprise shipping, tracking, rates and service selection, time intransit and address validation. These functions are also available for general business andindividual use within the Yahoo! Small Business Shipping Center at smallbusiness.yahoo.com, UPSsaid in a statement.

In addition, high volume Yahoo! merchants have access to import and export processing withUPS WorldShip®, a full-featured, Windows-based shipping software designed for customers withhigh-volume shipping needs. It eliminates address key entry allowing merchants to easily downloadcustomer orders. With more than 550,000 installations worldwide, WorldShip is one of the mostwidely deployed transportation software applications in the world.
