Bartolini opens two new branches

Italian parcels carrier Bartolini has continued its network expansion with the opening of two newbranches.



The company is scheduled to open today (January 23) a new, more modern facility for itsbranch at Portogruaro, which lies mid-way between Venice and Trieste in north-east Italy.

The new facility covers approximately 2,000 sqm and is 5 km from the Portogruaro motorwayexit and approximately 3 km from the town centre. The new branch is fitted with an automatic parcelsorting system and will allow the company to serve part of Pordenone, Venice and Treviso provinces.

Meanwhile, a new North Naples Freight Service branch was opened last month to handle anddistribute heavy and bulky goods.

The new facility, which replaces a smaller, older branch, covers approximately 10,000 sqm andis located 3 km from the Caserta South motorway exit and approximately 8 km from the centre ofCaserta.

“The opening of the new branch will allow us to serve all the heavy goods traffic inCampania’s five provincial capitals and, for lighter goods, the Naples east province,” Bartolinisaid in a statement.
