TNT announced that it has signed a distribution agreement worth €5.6 million a year withindustry-leading bathroom supplier Bristan Group.
The three-year contract involves more than 35,000 consignments per month, which is a movementof millions of bathroom and sanitary ware items to major stockists across the UK. Bristan willconsolidate its shipments with TNT, which will distribute the firm’s goods through a next day,before noon delivery service.
Eddie Calland, National Sales Manager of TNT, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering Bristanwith one of the UK’s biggest contracts for this sector. Our aim was simple – to develop asuccessful relationship so Bristan could differentiate itself from the competition with premiumservice.”
Discussions between TNT and Bristan started more than a year ago, with both companies keen toget a full understanding of cultures, requirements and operational capabilities.
Through the partnership, Bristan has been able to streamline its delivery process andconsolidate its distribution operation to deliver all products to customers on one load and at thesame time.
