Home Delivery Network Limited (HDNL), UK’s largest home delivery and collection service, has signeda delivery contract with asos.com, one of the fastest growing e-commerce retailers in the country.



Under the agreement, HDNL now provides to asos 48h delivery service from Monday to Friday aswell as Monday to Saturday next day service with Saturday deliveries being offered by asos to theircustomers at no extra charge. After recently announcing a 107% sales increase on last year,asos.com required a partner who could add value to the whole delivery experience, HDNL said in astatement.

“Asos’ continued success is built upon giving the customer what they want and we hope ourservice offering, in particular the next day delivery option, will support their overallproposition for ‘fast fashion’. Already we are building a strong relationship with the company”,commented Brian Gaunt, Chief Executive of HDNL.

Stuart Hill, asos.com head of customer logistics, explained: “We needed a service that hadthe capability to provide a consistent, visible home delivery experience. HDNL’s Track and Tracesystem is a real advantage as it allows parcel visibility to our customers. We were also impressedby their branded delivery team who will be representing and upholding the asos brand.”

Launched in 2000, asos.com is the UK’s largest online fashion and beauty store, attractingover 1.5 million visitors a week. It provides over 19,000 products with 1000 new lines being addedeach week.
