FedEx Express has been awarded the Supply Chain Integrator of the Year award at the Supply ChainAsia Logistics Awards 2008, recognising the company for its quality of services, shipping
reliability and strength of global network.Supply Chain Asia Logistics Award is one of Asia-Pacific’s most established and prestigiousaccolades for top industry players. Finalists for each category are chosen by Supply ChainAsia Magazine’s 8,700 readers and via its web portal. The category winners are selected by apanel of 14 independent judges, comprising veterans and specialists of the industry.

FedEx introduced several service enhancements in the region this year to meet increasingdemand for time-definite express services, including FedEx International Economy service, which wasrolled out across 13 Asia Pacific markets to address the needs of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME)customers who look for reliability and cost efficiency as a top priority when shipping. FedExalso launched a new A310 service in Vietnam, increasing capacity fivefold to meet customer demand.
