UK’s largest home delivery and collection service, Home Delivery Network Limited (HDNL), hasannounced that it has signed a contract with leading fashion retailer River Island to handle a
significant number of parcels a week.“We are delighted River Island has chosen our 24h and 48h Monday to Saturday deliveryservice,” commented Brian Gaunt, Chief Executive of HDNL. “As the leading specialist in the homedelivery sector, we look forward to building a strong relationship with the company and supportingthem in expanding their online proposition.”
Martin Goldstein, River Island head of purchasing, explained: “To date, HDNL has exceeded ourexpectations with their delivery performance. As our online offering continues to develop, we arepleased to be able to offer our customers a fast, efficient and professional service through HDNL.”
The British delivery company says that it handles over 120 million items each year and thatit delivers parcels to all 1,760,000 UK postcodes in 120 postal regions. In May 2008, HDNLseparated from Littlewoods Shop Direct Group.
