DPD expands network with two new branches in Russia

DPD Russia has opened new branches in Nowokusnezk, a big industrial city in Western Siberia, and inAstrakhan, a major city in the south of Russia, to further expand its nationwide network.



The new branches offer a complete range of DPD services in Russia including the popular DPDBizPak service, a unique domestic just–in-time delivery solution with excellent financialguarantees and other parcel and freight delivery services such as DPD Avia, DPD Classic and DPDEconomy.

Following the expansion of its branch network, DPD Russia has also extended its geographicalcoverage to more than 3000 cities adding 100 additional destinations to the regions served withinRussia.

In addition, the company has optimised its operational services and thus reduced its deliverytimes. According to new regulations, delivery times for DPD BizPak service to the cities such asAstrakhan or Surgut have been reduced on average by one day to 4-5 working days instead of 5-6 dayspreviously for shipments from Moscow to Surgut. Delivery times for the service DPD Economy alsowent down by one day to cities including Astrakhan, Surgut and Nishnevartovsk amounting to 3-4working days instead of the previous 3-5 days.
