DHL Japan is opening a new package drop-off centre in the Sakae business district in central Nagoyato offer a better service to its customers in the city centre complementing DHL’s standard shipment
pick-up services.The new DHL Sakae Express Centre, targeted at corporate customers, office workers, businesstravellers and tourists, was established under the business entrustment agreement with DigitalPrinting Studio, Inc., in its shop “PRESS-TALK” in Fushimi, one of the districts of Kyoto. It opensas of 1 July 2008.
The Digital Printing Studio is a specialist in on-demand and small-lot printing that supportsSOHO users, advertising agencies and production companies by offering a wide range of services fromdata management and design to printing and binding.
The new centre will accept documents and packages dropped off at the facility by DHL accountholders. In addition, it offers the DHL Simple Pack service, an easy-to-use service featuring asimplified fee structure.
The Sakae business district is home to a multitude of foreign companies and is locatedclosely to the Fushimi station. The proximity of the centre to the train station provides moreconvenience to DHL customers as they can drop-off their shipments on their way to and from work,while shopping or sightseeing.
DHL currently operates 10 service centres including sales, delivery and collection centres inthe Chubu region in Central Japan.
