UPS launches deferred delivery service in Middle East markets

UPS has launched a new service “UPS Expedited” in seven countries across the Middle East forexporters seeking slower international deliveries of their shipments.



UPS Expedited is a scheduled, day definite delivery service ensuring door-to-door delivery tomore than 70 countries and territories worldwide in two to five days. It is specifically designedfor customers with less urgent shipments to major international destinations, irrespective of sizeor volume combining economy and reliability.

The service, available in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait,Oman and Qatar, is open to one-time customers as well as account holders.

In order to effectively address these issues, UPS provides flexible deliverysolutions that are in tune with the demands of our customers’ businesses. ‘UPS Expedited is a newservice we offer to our customers to meet these diverse business challenges,” commented JohnTansey, General Manager UPS (UAE) LLC.

With the addition of UPS Expedited, customers now have a range of tailored products to choosefrom depending on their individual needs and service level requirements. The company also offersUPS Express, a faster shipping service with guaranteed delivery by midday the next business day,and UPS Express Saver, guaranteeing delivery by the end of the next business day.
