FedEx wins award in China

FedEx Express won several awards in China, France and Germany in the last few weeks.


FedEx Express in China was one of the six companies to win the award for “Most CreditableCompanies” at the award ceremony held by the Shanghai International Airport Exit and EntryInspection and Quarantine Bureau, FedEx reported. Established in 2004 by the Shanghai InternationalAirport Exit and Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the “Most Creditable Companies Award”recognizes low declaration errors due to their diligence and commitment to quality.

FedEx was the only express company to attain the prestigious “Grade A” category. “We arehonored to be recognized as one of the ‘Most Creditable Companies,’” said Audrey Cheong, managingdirector of operations, FedEx China. ”The award is a testament to our employees who consistently goabove and beyond to provide quality and reliable shipping service to and from China.”

In France, FedEx Express has been ranked number ninth among the top 30 “Great Places to Workin France,” according to a survey by the Great Place to Work® Institute in France. Within thisranking, FedEx is third among companies with more than 1,000 employees. The company employs morethan 2,500 people in France, including more than 1,800 at the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle hub.

Similarly, FedEx Express in Germany was ranked 39 by the Great Place to Work® Institute asone of the “Best German employers 2008” among the 100 companies honoured. Since 2003, FedEx Expressin Germany has been honoured every year as one of the 50 best German employers.
