DPD Russia has opened a new branch in Kaluga, a strategically important central region in Russia,to further expand its nationwide network. It now has 26 branches.
The new 389 sqm terminal is located in an industrial area in the northern part of the cityand has the capacity to handle more than 5,000 parcels a day. The investment in the new facilityamounted to more than RUB 1 million (EUR 27,210).
The new branch offers a complete range of DPD services in Russia including the popular DPDBizPak service, a unique domestic just–in-time delivery solution with excellent financialguarantees, and other parcel and freight delivery services such as DPD Avia, DPD Classic and DPDEconomy. In addition, the branch in Kaluga provides the international delivery service of DPDClassic, a reliable and efficient shipping solution for international documents and businessparcels.

The DPD branch network in Russia, covering all the country’s regions from the North West tothe Far East, has now increased to 26 branches. Each branch consists of an office and a terminalfacility with an operational area.
