FedEx Express will provide its logistic support to the winner of a category award of this year’s UKFashion Awards for up and coming fashion houses.
In order to develop its fashion business, FedEx Express said it will provide financial andadvisory support worth GBP 20,000 to the winner of the New Exporter 2008 category, which is open tocompanies exporting for less than two years. The UK Fashion Export Awards, which have been runningover the past 22 years, are designed to reward companies who have demonstrated export excellence.
FedEx already provided advice on service solutions and new target markets to the fashionhouse of last year’s winner, Goat. It assisted the fashion company with automation, providing teamtraining on key online tools and also advised and implemented a service solution for urgent sampledelivery to Hong Kong and Europe. FedEx Express is also sponsoring a salon presentation for Goat inMarch and supported the company during this month’s London Fashion Week.
