Indian market leader Blue Darts ups profits 39%

Blue Dart Express, the Indian domestic express market leader, increased net profits by 39% in 2007on sales up 21% following the addition of a third B757 freighter and launch of a new road express

service.

Blue Dart said it posted a net profit of 699.3 million rupees (EUR 12 million) for the yearended December 31, 2007. Its income from operations grew by 21% to 8,087 million rupees (EUR 139.7million).

Anil Khanna, Managing Director, Blue Dart Express Ltd, said: “Our results are a validation ofour customer’s faith in us and of our commitment to serve their business.
