La Redoute remains Austrian Post customer for another three years

Austrian Post and La Redoute Austria, a subsidiary of French mail order company Redcats, haveextended their cooperation by signing an exclusive three-year agreement covering 2008-2010. The

deal follows Austrian Post’s loss of major customers Quelle and Otto to new rival Hermes Logistik.

Under the agreement, Austrian Post will continue to deliver about 1.5 million parcels a yearfor La Redoute. The contract value was not disclosed.

“In the upcoming years, we will once again prove our services and new innovations to LaRedoute. A successful, long-term partnership continues,” said Anton Wais, Chairman of theManagement Board of Austrian Post.

“One thing is important for La Redoute and its customers, namely quick and reliable delivery.This is the service Austrian Post provides us with,” commented Christine Halbrainer, CFO Financeand Deputy Manager of La Redoute Austria.

With its 100 employees, La Redoute provides more than 300,000 customers with the latestfashion trends originating in Paris.
