Top Canadian express company Purolator has opened a new 160,000 sqft state-of-the-art hub inSt-Laurent, Québec.
The new hub is located near Montreal’s international airport, has a 350-strong staff andPurolator says it has the ability to process 24,000 pieces of conveyable freight per tour. The hubis designed to accommodate future growth for the next several years.

Opening the new Montreal hub represents a key milestone in Purolator’s company-wideinvestment strategy which it says is introducing new options, new solutions and new capabilities toits customers. Introduced in 2005, Purolator says its transformation includes an increasedinvestment in technology, infrastructure, processes and employees.
Purolator claims to be Canada’s largest courier company with 2006 revenues of CAD 1.3 billion(EUR 913 million). The company, 94% owned by Canada Post, has more than 12,500 employees in 123centres, over 4,000 vehicles, 15 aircraft and processes 275 million items per year.
