TNT today announced it is launching from next Monday, 17 September, two new worldwidetime-guaranteed morning services to provide deliveries by 9:00, 10:00 and 12:00 to more cities and
business locations than ever before.Its new services are a 10:00 Express – adding to the existing 9:00 Express and 12:00 Express– and a 12:00 ”Economy” Express, which TNT says is an industry first – providing customers with aservice that is both economical and time-guaranteed.
The Dutch group now claims to offer more morning deliveries than any of its competitors.
“Our new offering, which includes a market first, creates growth opportunities by allowing usto sell more time-guaranteed services to our customers,” commented Marie-Christine Lombard, groupmanaging director of TNT’s express division.
“Customers will benefit from a wider choice of morning delivery services, with the simplicityof a one-stop-shop solution,” she added.
TNT is launching an international communications campaign to support its new portfolio. Usingthe theme “Good Morning!”, the campaign combines print and outdoor advertising, viral and directmarketing, and online and internal communications.
The company said it launched the service after conducting extensive research involving 7,500express service users in key markets around the world.
The results demonstrated that, apart from speed, weight and coverage capabilities, customersexpected convenience, reliability and control from their provider of express services, TNT said. Ithad recognised a universal customer need for guaranteed morning delivery, more choice of servicesand less complexity through service alignment.
Its 9:00 Express, 10:00 Express and 12:00 Express are time-guaranteed, door-to-door deliveryservices for urgent shipments on the next or earliest possible business day to major cities and keybusiness areas worldwide.
The 12:00 Economy Express is for less urgent shipments, offering cost effective delivery toEU countries within 2-4 days.
TNT also has day-definite services, such as Express and Economy Express, and specialservices, including Sameday for deliveries measured in minutes and hours.
In Germany and France, TNT also offers an 8:00 Express.
