TNT has expanded its worldwide import service to 120 countries and plans to extend it to cover moreof the globe.
The number of countries covered by the Import Service has risen to 120 with the addition ofMalawi and New Caledonia, TNT Express Germany said in a statement. Source markets served includethe likes of China, India, Brazil and Russia, it pointed out.
Under the service, customers can import documents, parcels and freights with minimumadministration with agreed transit times and pay standardised prices in euros. TNT handles theshipment from collection, transport and customs clearance through to final delivery.
“We are planning to extend our offer so that this service is available in all countries ofthe world,” commented Michael Röttcher, sales director for TNT Express Germany. “In view ofglobalisation, we ensure competitive advantages for our customers with the continuous expansion ofthe Import Service.”
