New COO for Atlas Air subsidiary Polar

New appointments

The Atlas Air/DHL Express subsidiary, Polar Air Cargo, has a new chief operating officer and chieffinancial officer.



Randy Clark, a former DHL Express executive, has been named Polar’s COO following the recent49% share purchase by the Deutsche Post subsidiary, while Olivier Alexandroff, a former DHL ExpressUSA vice-president is CFO.

“As part of DHL Express’s equity stake in Polar Air Cargo Worldwide, we welcome Randy andOlivier, who are transitioning to Polar to support the success of this strategic partnership,” saidAtlas chief executive officer William Flynn.

Atlas has the world’s largest fleet of Boeing 747 freighter aircraft and, including throughPolar, offers scheduled air cargo service, cargo charters, military charters, and ACMI aircraftleasing in which customers receive a dedicated aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance on along-term lease basis.
