Bosch has awarded TNT Express its prestigious global supplier award in the logistics category forthe second time in a row, for “excellent performance regarding quality of service, reliability and
pricing”.The prize, which TNT also won when it was last presented two years ago, was presented to thecompany yesterday at an awards ceremony in Stuttgart.
Dieter Schwaderer, senior general manager for coordination and projects at TNT ExpressGermany, received the award on behalf of the company, saying: “Receiving this award from a leadinginternational technology group confirms our endeavour for quality and business excellence in everyfield.
“We at TNT Express see ourselves as a strictly customer-focused, premium service provider andwe are very glad to see that Bosch appreciate our quality and commitment.”
The award also took into account other criteria such as communication, cooperation andreadiness for continuous improvement, TNT said in a release. The globally operating Bosch Group’sprize was awarded to the whole TNT Express division.
“Global expansion is only possible for us with strong partners,” said Franz Fehrenbach, headof Bosch’s management board. “That is why we have opted for an internationally focused procurementand a global supplier strategy.”
