Japanese express company Overseas Courier Service (OCS) said it will jointly develop a newinternational express delivery service aimed primarily at the growing Asian market in cooperation
with All Nippon Airways (ANA).The new service, to be called BEAM, will launch at the end of August. It will utilize ANA’sgrowing freighter network for air transportation and OCS’s collection, delivery andcustoms-clearance services on the ground to provide high-speed, high-quality and reliableinternational deliveries.
Services will first be offered to Shanghai, using ANA’s late night cargo flights from Hanedavia Kansai, and rolled out to other points in China as demand for the service develops, the companysaid.
