Dubai-based express firm Aramex has strengthened its Saudi truck network by buying 12 new 50-footvehicles to improve daily connections between its three hubs at Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah.
The carrier, which has 26 facilities and offices in the kingdom, said the modern trucks wereequipped with GPRS tracking technology to allow customers to obtain minute-by-minute updates of theprogress of shipments via the company web site.
“Saudi Arabia is a central part of the Aramex network,” its country manager Hussam Baraqounicommented. “We provide innovative and customised transportation solutions to a wide range ofclients in sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals, fashion retail and the automotive industry.
