TNT Express France has opened a new, 10,000 sqm parcel and document sorting centre and regionalheadquarters north-west of Paris.
The new depot and offices, on a 30,000 sqm plot at Bonneuil-en-France, Val d’Oise, is closeto the main A1, A3, A104 and A86 motorways and has 100 bays for HGVs and light vehicles. It isalready handling over 26,000 parcels per day collected and for delivery in Seine-St Denis.
Some 140 staff man the new centre – including those transferred from the old regionalheadquarters at Gonesse. TNT Express now has around 120 sites in France.
“With 7,800 sqm of depot and 2,200 sqm of offices, this brand new site is going to allow usto increase our operational capacity and efficiency to ensure optimum quality of service. It is apositive development for employees, management and all our clients,” said Franck Morodei, regionaloperations director.
Meanwhile, TNT Express France announced it had won a gold award for best B2B telephoneservice sponsored by the magazine “Relation Client”.
A jury from the publication paid tribute to the “quality and professionalism” of TNT ExpressFrance’s international client service, which on average receives and makes some 1.6 million callsper year.
