DHL delivers to the Hard Rock Café

DHL has won a multi-year contract with Hard Rock International, one of the world’s most recognizedmusic, entertainment and dining brands with hotels, casinos and cafes worldwide. As part of the new

agreement, DHL will provide its shipping services to all Hard Rock Cafe locations around the globe. 
 
Hard Rock switched to DHL to handle all shipping needs, including delivery of inventory fromHard Rock’s distribution centre in Louisville, KY, to locations worldwide, and to fulfil onlinemerchandise orders from www.hardrock.com.

With 123 Hard Rock Cafes in 46 countries, Hard Rock was also looking for a dependable carrierto entrust its one-of-a-kind displays, memorabilia and historic display pieces for shipment to allHard Rock locations worldwide.

DHL will be supporting Hard Rock’s “Top of the Rock” awards program, which recognizes the topperforming Hard Rock Cafes around the world with the honour of displaying special pieces from itsfamous memorabilia collection. Once a month, DHL will transport guitars once played by rock ‘n’roll legends like Jimi Hendrix and Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley to Hard Rock Cafes throughout theworld. “Hard Rock owns the world’s largest collection of music memorabilia, and we entrust DHL forits safe and secure transport,” said Siemienas.  
 
Hard Rock’s collectables will get full visibility within the DHL system, with DHL’s CustomerOperations Group monitoring the guitars from pick-up to delivery, and communicating with DHLfacilities and customs authorities in all destination countries.
