The new gateway provides both US businesses and those based in the region (including thecities of Cancún, Ciudad del Carmen, Villahermosa, Tuxtla Gutiérrez and Minatitlán), with a newfacility for the shipment of goods across the US-Mexican border. Customs clearance will be throughlocal agents and delivery times will be reduced from two days to one, the carrier said.
