TNT Express has won a renowned European business award for customer focus, presented in Brusselsyesterday, for putting the client “at the heart” of its business.
The award, given to the “most customer-focused company in Europe”, is sponsored by The WallStreet Journal Europe newspaper and several top companies, namely CMS, AXA Grey EMEA, Siemens andSociété Générale.
A jury of European academics, business specialists and board members from Europeanenterprises chose winners in six categories from hundreds of companies.
The decision was based on several criteria, including the company’s customer managementstrategy, the deployment of its resources to meet the needs of the clients and customer-relatedinnovations.
“As TNT Express strives to be truly customer centric, each of us has a role to play,including drivers, operations and warehouse staff, marketing, finance and administration personnel,as well as other management functions. Everything that we do has to be customer-oriented,”commented Marie-Christine Lombard, TNT Express managing director.
