DHL has upgraded its EasyShip family of PC-based shipping software to make the applications fasterand easier to use and install, with access to more of the carrier’s services.
Improvements have been made to the full range of DHL shipping software platforms – EasyShipConnect, for smaller volume clients to use on their own PC; EasyShip Professional, a stand-aloneseries for low-medium volume customers; and EasyShip Enterprise, a high-performance server-basedsystem to support multiple shipping stations.
“These enhancements were developed in close collaboration with our shipping customers,” saidKeith Lovetro, executive vice-president (marketing).
“Keeping a close pulse on our customers’ needs help us to continually enhance our systems tofit their specific requirements and grow with the pace of a changing business environment.
“Our upgrades to DHL EasyShip will improve the DHL customer experience by offering moreoptions and making automated shipping faster and easier,” he said.
The new upgrades include faster installation and setup, improved visibility for shipmentprocessing, simplified import/export to upload easier large data files for mass distributions; anoption to request DHL signature delivery and addition of the expedited DHL@homebusiness-to-residential delivery service.
