NetExpress Europe signs up Slovakia’s SEL

NetExpress expands

The independent European parcel network, NetExpress Europe, has taken on another eastern Europeanpartner in Slovakia’s SEL.



Bratislava-based SEL (Slovakia Express Logistik) takes the number of members of theNetExpress Europe to 13.

NetExpress Europe was formed as a pan-European road express network by five companies in1999.

Now the network includes the UK’s Target Express, Calberson of France, Spain’s Seur, Gel ofGermany, Schiphol Express of Benelux, Scandinavian carrier Sact, Ontime Logistics from Austria andStreck of Switzerland.

NetExpress Europe has been signing up partner companies in central and eastern Europe sinceDecember 2005 – carriers in the Czech and Baltic Republics, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungaryhave joined the network.

One of its leading members, Target Express, is merging with City Link to create a major newexpress parcels group in the UK. Target Express was bought by City Link’s parent company,conglomerate Rentokil Initial, for GBP 210 million in December.
