The accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union will create new growth opportunities, according to DPD GeoPost.
Thanks to the removal of customs barriers and its new transport network, transit times forshipments between the two countries and the rest of the EU will be shortened considerably, theGerman subsidiary of GeoPost, the La Poste Group express parcels division, pointed out.
DPD will continue to serve the two new EU members through the GeoPost subsidiaries GeoPostCargus (Romania) and GeoPost Bulgaria, the company said in a statement.
