DHL opens new service points in Asia

DHL targeting commuters

DHL has opened new service points in South Korea and Thailand as part of further plans to driveforward its business in the Asia Pacific region.



Its new Yeongdong service point in Korea is located near Gangnam subway subway station, whichis used by 200,000 commuters and will offer document and international express services.

DHL Thailand has opened a service point at Chidlom BTS station, targeting individuals,tourists and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Chidlom BTS station is known as one of the busiest and most convenient stations for Bangkok’scommuters.

The express company said its “innovative retail strategy” was aimed at providing “convenient,user-friendly and accessible” outlets.

Earlier this month, the carrier announced two new state-of-the art service centres in Korea,at Sacheon Airport and in Daegu, as well as a 4,000 package-a-day sorting facility in Penang,Malaysia.
