One of the largest independent German express operators, GO! has continued its European expansionwith the addition of a partner for Hungary. The Bonn-based express company has signed up the
Hungarian company Road Parcel Szállítmányozási Kft. as its partner for the country.The latter has set up a subsidiary, GO! General Overnight (Magyarország) Logisztikai Kft.,which will operate as its courier and express unit with immediate effect. The Hungarian expresscompany has 130 staff, two sorting centres in Budapest and in Györ, along with 10 more depots.
“Our new partner stands out not only though its large domestic expertise in Hungary but alsoits readiness to live the GO! philosophy,” commented Ralf-Hans Dierks, managing director of GeneralOvernight Service (Deutschland).
Road Parcel Szállítmányozási Kft, founded in 1997 and now with 600 staff, provides mostlydomestic B2B parcel distribution. It handles up to 3,000 parcels a day.
